The British summer might not be the best in the world but when the sun is out, Hallmark Hotels know how to make the most of it. Served at 20 of our hotels*, our brand-new Summer Happy Hour menu offers 40% off all drinks between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, seven days a week. To celebrate, we are inviting you to come and quench your thirst by trying one of our fabulous signature drinks.
Summer heat calls for a cooling cocktail. Originating in Italy, the Aperol Spritz is a low-alcohol concoction that is as tasty as it is refreshing. Made by combining the slight bitterness of Aperol with the bubbliness of Prosecco, a dash of soda, a slice of orange, and plenty of ice, it’s the perfect light summer drink to share with friends before dinner.
It’s gin o’clock
Just in time for the summer season, we’ve put together a specially chosen menu of gins. It includes the rhubarb and ginger flavour of Whitley Neil’s exceptional handcrafted gin, plus classics such as Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray. Served over ice with fresh citrus fruits and London Essence premium tonic waters, we’re the ideal place to enjoy the drink everyone is talking about.
Wine of the summer
With its fruity flavour, pretty pink colour and sparkly taste, rosé is a lot of people’s warm-weather drink of choice. That’s why we’ve made Chapel Down English Rosé our wine of the summer. Served chilled, the juicy notes of strawberry and red fruits in this homegrown tipple are tremendously invigorating on a balmy summer evening.
If you feel like wetting your whistle, Hallmark has a selection of beautiful terraces and gardens that are a great place to enjoy these delicious drinks, including:
