When it comes to gym membership, those monthly fees can add up, so here’s our advice on how to get your money’s worth:

Use all of the equipment

Gym 1Treadmills are great but you can run anywhere, anytime, so take advantage of the state-of-the-art machines available at most gyms. If you don’t know how to use them, just ask for help.

Try out all of the facilities

IMG_9029Many gyms have swimming pools, as well as saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs. After a marathon workout, why not take some time to relax in the spa?

Take a class

IMG_8981Most gyms offer a range of workout classes from aqua aerobics to Zumba. Classes are a great way to work out for those of us who lack a little motivation. Being around others might make you more likely to go the extra mile.

Make going to the gym part of your routine
