The four acres of landscaped and carefully maintained grounds share centre stage with the house. Stroll around them and you’ll discover a famous estate whose ‘pleasure grounds’, developed by George Brooks and his son around the turn of the 18th century, won high praise from the legendary botanist and garden designer, CJ Loudon. – They also contain a walled garden, an arboretum and a lake along with a grade I listed parish church and grass-topped grotto bridge with classic and Gothic features concealing an arched room. The lush estate also makes the perfect backdrop for creating extra special memories when you celebrate a landmark birthday or celebration here.
Our countryside, award-winning hotel is just half an hour from London by train, and close to Luton Airport – very convenient for a couple of nights’ stay before or after your flight.
With an outstanding restaurant, lovely lounges and just 19 bedrooms this boutique country house hotel is perfect for exclusive use. Imagine taking over the entire manor for your celebration with family and friends.
Not just one but two AA rosettes for simply divine dining
Enjoying a meal in our restaurant is rather special. Aside from our beautiful wood panelling and marvellous panoramas of the gardens, our head chef and his team have conjured up not just one but two AA rosette awards for the quality of our food and service. It’s a menu that befits any special occasion and can also be tailored to private parties of up to 58 guests. A rather wonderful way to treat your loved ones or say “thank you”.
Our legendary afternoon tea is also well known in these parts. Take a seat in the lounge in front of a roaring fire or on the terrace whilst the sun is blazing and there is no better way to enjoy Hallmark Hotel Flitwick Manor.
