The Sous Chef role involves taking responsibility of the Kitchen, ensuring a high standard of food production and managing the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
As part of the role of Sous Chef you will be expected to support a working environment which promotes positive attitude, pride and good morale, ensuring high standards of quality control, handling and storage of commodities to current legislation and supporting the Head Chef in maintaining health and safety audits to company standard.
We are looking for a Sous Chef with a passion for food who is already experienced at Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Senior Chef de Partie level in a similar sized establishment.
The ideal candidate will preferably be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Food Preparation or equivalent and must be highly motivated, flexible and a team player with outstanding communication and organisational skills.
