·Respond positively to sales enquiries and work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and convert future sales leads
·To provide effective and efficient communication to all departments in the hotel.

·Responsible for accurate recording and processing of reservations and maximisation of room sales, and in line with company guidelines.
·Maximise revenue through strategic up-selling techniques and effective negotiation skills.
·To develop awareness and knowledge of our competitors, market conditions and any other factors which may affect the business of the hotel.
·Have full knowledge and understanding of hotel rates, promotions and offers.
·To develop a full understanding of the hotel’s business, liaising with the Reception Manager and General Manager to effectively manage the hotel selling strategy.
·Liaise with Reception Manger and General Manager to closely monitor and update 3rd party websites, GDS and the hotel website, ensuring the correct rates are visible over the relevant channels.
·Ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue.
·Be sales driven and committed to delivering excellent customer service, whilst striving to meet departmental and hotel targets.
·Ability to promote the strong customer service image and reputation of the Hallmark Hotel and Hallmark Group
·Wherever possible use your 6th sense and listening skills to surprise and delight our guests & teams
