Surfing up a Christmas Feast
Local Hotel gets Bournemouth into the festive mood
With Christmas right around the corner, Bournemouth’s Hallmark Hotel has been getting into festive cheer by catching the waves on Bournemouth Beach. Not only did they brave the chilly waters, but General Manager Helen Hall and Reservations Co-ordinator Bonny Bassi really got into the spirit by dressing as a Christmas pudding and Christmas tree too.
The hotel is no stranger to doing the odd and unusual. On 8th October, General Manager Helen jumped out of an airplane, thousands of feet in the air, all in the name of Charity. But having recently launched their Christmas brochure, she and Bonny wanted to do something special to alert Bournemouth residents as to why they will give Christmas 2011 the Fun Factor!
General Manager, Helen Hall explained what they were up to: “We love Christmas and with our deals and weekends away, what a perfect way to treat someone this year. We wanted to have a laugh and get the rest of Bournemouth into the festive spirit – the Christmas countdown has well and truly begun!”
She continued: “We have worked hard to create a range of events and evenings which should appeal to a range of people. Christmas is always such a busy season that we urge people to get requests and bookings in early and if you’re a company who is looking for a venue for your Christmas party then our events team can make the evening bespoke to you.”
This year, Hallmark has designed a series of events to get guests rocking around the Christmas tree. Their ‘Fire Party Night’ offer visitors a red carpet entrance, 4 course themed dinner, prize draw and entertainment or perhaps delight in their ‘Ice Party Night’ - one of the coolest parties in town. From just £22.50 per person, Hallmark has a perfect evening of fine cuisine, music and entertainment planned.
With no washing up to do, treating families to a Christmas lunch is the ideal way to create a stress free meal. Hallmark’s dedicated team of Chef’s will serve either a traditional turkey with all the trimmings, a sirloin of beef with horseradish jus or a paupiette of sole, as part of a 5 course luncheon.
To go that extra mile, Hallmark has launched a ‘Christmas Residential Package’ for guests to enjoy a festive break. Checking into the hotel on 23rd December, this four day stay gives guest’s time to unwind and relax, whilst being treated like a celebrity. From a hearty English breakfast to a dip in the pool, Hallmark Bournemouth will make Christmas unforgettable.
