Strictly Star greets fans at Bournemouth Hotel

Guests and staff of one of Bournemouth’s most trendy hotels were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of one of the stars of the hit BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing earlier in August. None other than Strictly dancer Karen Hardy was snapped on the steps of the prestigious hotel looking super stylish, alongside Hotel General Manager Helen Hall.

Karen, whose rise to fame included winning series 4 of the BBC ratings winner with England cricket ace, Mark Ramperkash, was staying at the newly 4 star rated Hallmark Hotel and Spa. Miss Hardy also enjoyed dinner in the Hallmark’s trendy Brasserie, prepared by the hotel’s award winning Executive Chef, Jamie Perry. Diners could hardly believe their luck when the down-to-earth Karen mingled with the guests, enjoying after-dinner cocktails in the hotel’s stylish lounge.

Since winning Strictly, Karen’s career has grown from strength to strength in the world of dance and television. Not only is she one of the most in-demand  dance teachers, but she also adjudicates some of the most high profile dance competitions, including British and World Championships. She also spends her time choreographing stars that are performing on television, and presenting popular shows like “It Takes Two”.
