Hallmark goes zorbing!
We could never accuse our team of being boring. It seems they’re always up to something!
Not satisfied by their recent fundraising efforts involving a skydive from over 12 000 feet (all in aid of Julia’s House), or their surfing on Bournemouth Beach dressed up as Christmas trees and puddings (just because!), the dynamic duo of reservationist Bonny Bassi and General Manager Helen Hall organised a day out at Gorcombe Farm in Blandford Forum to propel themselves down a hill in a large inflatable ball.
That’s right – the team went “Zorbing” – the latest craze in extreme sports. Two people are strapped to the inside of a 12ft rubber inflatable ball and hurtled down a steep hill, littered with bumps, adding to the adrenaline-fuelled “sport”. Even the poor weather couldn’t stop the team from having their excitement, and Helen even said: “We love doing something different. We are planning on even more days out – our wish list consists of Segway Racing and also high-speed Porsche Racing around a local track.”
