Hallmark Hotel named a finalist as Bournemouth’s “Hotel of the Year”
This week saw the finalists named for the Bournemouth Tourism Awards 2011. The annual award ceremony will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre on Thursday, 1st December and features awards for organisations that have best served Bournemouth’s ever-burgeoning tourism industry.
Amongst the named finalists was Hallmark Hotel, Bournemouth’s latest hotel to have been awarded a prestigious 4 star AA rating. They will now compete for the title of Large/Medium Hotel of the Year at the sparkling awards bash.
General Manager of the hotel, Helen Hall, said of their nomination: “We are thrilled to have been named a finalist at this year’s Bournemouth Tourism Awards. Our team have worked hard to get the hotel into the shape it is today and they have created a renewed sense of rejuvenation and vitality, and we are hopeful to win our category on 1st December.”
A spokesperson from Bournemouth Tourism said: “Plans are being finalised for a wonderful gala evening, to celebrate an eventful year in the resort for all tourism businesses and all sectors. A big thank you to everybody who entered this year's awards. The quality of entry has been very good, with some categories having several finalists.
