Corporate Cooperation in Aid of Great Causes

Two Dorset based companies are working in tandem to help a number of worthy causes. Hallmark Hotel, Bournemouth, is supporting the work of Supply Shack, who in turn donates a large proportion of profits to a selection of charitable organisations.  

The relationship was formed between Supply Shack’s Managing Director, Des Day, and Hallmark Hotel’s General Manager, Helen Hall, in order to further support the work done by Supply Shack. The office supply and print company donate a massive 50% of their profits to good causes – a completely revolutionary tact in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility. Hallmark Hotel wanted to be able to help with the community and charity project, and acted when approached by Mr. Day. Supply Shack customers will now receive a special complimentary Day Membership at the hotel’s Health Spa & Leisure Club, including bath robe hire and even further discounts on any spa treatments.

Helen Hall, Hallmark Hotel’s General Manager explained their involvement: “We support a number of charities ourselves, but were touched by the work done by Des and the Supply Shack team, and really wanted to be involved somehow. We take our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives seriously and we’re just pleased to be associated with Supply Shack’s altruistic deeds.”
