This Friday the staff and members of Manchester's Hallmark Gym embark on an epic 320 mile journey to raise money for Children in Need, all without leaving the hotel lobby.

The event will see two of the gym's high tech spin bikes placed in the hotels reception with staff and gym members, along with willing visitors to the hotel, taking 20 min shifts in a bid to complete the distance in one day.

50 people have already signed up for a 20 min slot, however there are still plenty of spaces available, with one bike being exclusively for members of the gym and visitors of the hotel.

Claire Cockburn, Hallmark Manchester Gym Manager comments:

"All the staff and gym members are determined to raise as much money as possible for Children in Need and I expect there will be a little friendly rivalry between the staff and the members. It'll be interesting to see whose bike travels furthest."

"We're putting together lots of new activities for the gym members to get involved in and they seem to be really enjoying it and the sense of community that comes with it. Fingers crossed we raise plenty of money."
