The Welcombe Spa

Our spa maybe light, bright and dazzlingly modern but it tips a therapeutic wink to the past with a trail of ancient Roman thermal treatments including a caldarium, laconium and tepidarium. Combine them with a 21st century heat wave courtesy of our Finnish sauna tropical rain shower and al fresco vitality pool.

With solo and dual treatment rooms (the couple that gets massaged together, stays together) offering Elemis and Clarins therapies, you’ve a choice of facials, manicures and pedicures, along with aromatic balancing body therapies, waxing and tinting.

Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe’s super serene spa is open to hotel guests, but also offers day packages so you don’t have to stay to savour those luxuriant fluffy robes, über healthy cuisine and divine heated loungers.  You could also join as a member, earning preferential rates in the hotel and restaurant.

All of our spa day packages include a light lunch, luxurious towels and towelling robes. You will also have full access to the hotel's spa facilities, such as;

  • Indoor level-deck swimming pool surrounded by luxurious loungers
  • Foot spas
  • Finnish sauna
  • External vitality pool
  • Caldarium, laconium and tepidarium thermal rooms
  • Ice fountain
  • Heated loungers
  • Tropical and polar storm showers
  • Fully equipped gym

Guest Reviews

Well it is so much better than expected!!! The massage was excellent and the girl really knew her techniques. The spa is small but perfect, the outdoor pool was heaven, great for bad backs. Plenty of loungers around and very clean. Excellent day, worth the money.
