The Trevelyan Restaurant has gorgeous views over the Italian gardens. In the summer months you can dine alfresco on the terrace which has panoramic views of the open countryside on all sides of the Hotel. When it’s cold outside, it’s always warm in the lounge where there is a grand, open fireplace, and comfortable sofas.
Our chefs and kitchen brigade produce food to match these magnificent surroundings, using the finest of ingredients and seasonal produce. Choose from the à la carte menu with such enticing dishes as breast of Gressingham duck, fillet of Scottish halibut or roast cannon of lamb – a mixture of English and Continental cuisine prepared with imagination and flair.
The restaurant is popular with local people as well as guests, and lends itself to both intimate dinners and to larger groups of family or friends celebrating a special occasion.
A delicious traditional afternoon tea with sandwiches, homemade scones, jam and clotted cream and a glass of fizz is served in the Trevelyan Restaurant every day at 3pm, 3.30pm and 4pm. Pre-booking is advised for this very special experience.
