At the Trevelyan Restaurant our award-winning food comes with a side dish of dreamy views of our Italianate Garden (word to the wise: always check if there’s a window table available). Balmy summer nights get even better with the doors flung open onto our al fresco terrace, offering a widescreen panorama of dreamy countryside.
Of course the food is the real star. Or perhaps the real AA Rosette (our latest award). The combination of modern British and European cuisine, prepared with flair, passion and imagination, sees fine regional produce including Gressingham duck, Scottish halibut and Welsh lamb, served with the freshest seasonal ingredients. It really isn’t hard to see why it has become a favourite of Stratford-upon-Avon locals as well as guests.
But The Trevelyan’s fine dining isn’t our only claim to fame. The Hallmark Welcombe’s traditional afternoon high tea has also garnered a loyal following. Expect a delicious mix of sandwiches, homemade scones with jam, clotted cream and a glass of bubbly. It’s popular. Very popular. Pre-booking is strongly recommended.
A delicious traditional afternoon tea with sandwiches, homemade scones, jam and clotted cream and a glass of fizz is served in the Trevelyan Restaurant every day at 3pm, 3.30pm and 4pm. Pre-booking is advised for this very special experience.
