Eat and drink

We take pride in sourcing local produce for our menu – the rolling Worcestershire countryside is a rich larder on our doorstep – but our honey takes freshness to new levels. The beehives sit in our garden, so close you can practically smell the sweet honey from the Hallmark Hotel Stourport Manor brasserie. Food miles? Zero.

But while the ingredients may be as local as possible, our acclaimed cuisine – a magnet for nearby residents as well as guests – is a mix of modern British and European food with a drizzle of long haul spicy favourites. You’ll find the likes of spiced lamb tagine, pan fried seabass fillet, Teriyaki salmon and mushroom ravioli, alongside beer battered local fish and chips, Kansas style bbq glazed spare ribs, 10oz ribeye steaks and our signature burgers. If you’ve any room left, you can try our refreshing lemon tart with clotted cream or our banana split sundae with sticky toffee fudge ice cream and whipped cream.

Naturally, we like to utilize our magnificent setting to the full. When the weather is fine – the West Midlands sadly can’t offer a sunshine guarantee – you can head out from the brasserie with its smart red and earth tone interiors, and dine on our terrace: a dreamy spot for a memorable meal.

Meet our head chef

Name: John Whitehouse

Experience: John has been head chef at Hallmark Hotel Stourport Manor for two years, prior to this he has been with our company for 15 years.

Signature dish: Cod wrapped in parchment

How to make John Whitehouse's signature dish at home

1. Take a 6-7oz piece of skinless cod loin supremes, season in salt and pepper
2. Cut a 12inch by 12inch piece of parchment paper
3. In the centre of the paper, place 3 small slices
4. Chop up the new potatoes
5. De-seed the plum tomatoes
6. Place 50 grams of roasted red pepper
7. Place all of the ingredients underneath the cod, with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh thyme
8. Grab the four corners of the parchment paper and bring them together and fold.
9. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes.
10. Serve with steamed green beans, dressed with a knob of butter
11. Enjoy!

Healthy option on our menu: For your main course, why not try our delicious Superfood Salad - roasted squash, red peppers, quinoa, edamame beans, baby kale, pomegranate and chilli-roasted seeds, with a balsamic, raspberry and black pepper dressing.


Breakfast

We offer a delicious breakfast buffet, including cooked and continental breakfast items. We are more than happy to provide table service for our guests on request. We also offer a wide choice of dishes cooked to order like omelettes, poached haddock, porridge, kippers and poached eggs. Vegetarian breakfast options are also available.

  • Monday – Friday: 07.00 – 09.30
  • Saturday: 07.00 – 10.00
  • Sunday: 07.00 – 10.00

We also serve continental breakfast throughout the night via room service. We are fully flexible with our breakfast service times, as we don`t want our guests to miss their breakfast because…

24 Hour room service

All our menus are available for room service delivery, between 10.00 and 22.00. After 22.00, we offer our takeaway menu with pizzas, hot dogs, nachos and sandwiches. We also offer a 24 hour drinks room service for our residents.
