Location. Location. Location When it comes to the Hallmark Hotel Manchester Airport, the estate agent’s adage has rarely been more apt. We’re just three miles from the booming international air hub used by over 60 airlines to fly to 200 destinations, and only a little way south of the famous northern metropolis with its vibrant culture and nightlife. Add in our superb motorway links and we’re in a peach of a position for business and leisure guests – and a stunning state-of-the-art venue for both corporate events and private celebrations.
Our light bright contemporary hotel offers a lot. An awful lot. For starters we have 88 stylish en suite rooms mixing tastefully neutral interiors with monochrome photographs, dark wood furniture and chenille throws, along with those 21st century essentials: warp speed WiFi, 24-hour room service – a real boon if you’re arriving from long haul time zone – and flat screen plasma TVs. With a broad range of guests, we’re nothing if not flexible with doubles, twins and family rooms, along with ‘executives’ containing king-size beds and lounge areas.
You won’t just sleep well, however. You’ll eat well. Very well. Our brasserie, Handforth, serves modern British and European dishes drizzled with a few spicy favourites from further afield. Think of it as an aperitif – or a reminder – of recent travels. You’ll have a choice of everything from beer-battered fish and homemade pie, to arancini, bouillabaisse and pork schnitzel, or even a Moroccan-style slow cooked lamb and Goan prawn curry. We also serve a cracking Sunday roast beloved of local diners – always a good sign!
But at the Hallmark Hotel Manchester Airport you don’t just devour calories, your burn them off. Our health and fitness club lets you keep your exercise regime on track (and stretch out some of that inflight stiffness) in a beautiful 20m pool flooded with natural daylight beneath a beamed ceiling, or in the top-notch gym with its cardio, resistance and free-weight areas. There’s also a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, along with seven treatment rooms for therapies that will leave you with a supercharged holiday glow, or fight the draining effects of jet lag.
Along with food and sleep, we’re also a Cheshire hotspot for corporate functions, from conferences and exhibitions to private celebrations including weddings and birthday parties. Our amazing location helps, of course, as does our versatile range of elegant function suites that can host everything from board meetings and intimate family gatherings to a full throttle evening disco for 500, and pretty much everything in between. Small wonder we’re in demand from both happy couples and all sizes of business.
We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies at the Hallmark Hotel Manchester Airport, and we have a range of beautiful events spaces for your reception or wedding. Make an appointment with our dedicated events team to discuss the kind of event you’re looking for.
Whether it’s the night before your wedding, the day before your holiday or you just need some chill-out time, our spa treatment rooms are open seven days a week.
As well as fabulous facilities, we have the expert staff. Whatever the function our dedicated event coordinators will provide inspiration, planning and meticulous attention to detail, along with knowledge of trusted local suppliers for everything from photography to room decoration and outstanding external caterers.
So yes, the Hallmark Hotel Manchester Airport has location, location, location. But that’s only part of the story. Whether you’re staying for business or leisure, planning a celebration or flying off abroad – our accommodation packages include free parking and airport transfers – talk to us to see what we can offer to make your trip really take off.
