Glaswegians aren’t short of eating options with Scotland’s second city enjoying increasing culinary recognition (to go with the longstanding acclaim for its curry houses). So it’s a gold star for the Hallmark Hotel Glasgow that its cosy contemporary brasserie with its elegant earth tone interiors and relaxed atmosphere is a hit for guests and locals alike.
We’re not surprised, of course. Our kitchen always uses fresh seasonal ingredients to create a menu that mixes modern British and European dishes with spicy favourites from further afield. You’ll find the likes of arancini, bouillabaisse and Swiss style veal, alongside Moroccan style slow-cooked lamb, beer battered local fish, homemade pie and mash and Goan prawn curry. If you’ve any room left, you can try the tarte tatin or warm Belgian waffle sundae.
The brasserie has become a seriously popular spot for birthdays and special celebrations, while the lounge and bar serve light bites with Sky TV.
