Meetings and events

So you’re planning a business event in the Derby area. You need flexibility on numbers. You need a variety of well-equipped rooms for different purposes. You need a dedicated team at the Hotel to help you deliver against your objectives for the sessions, and to be available on the day to keep everything on track.

All the delegates are going to need great food and regular refreshments to keep them motivated and fresh. When business is over, some people will want to head to the swimming pool, the gym or the sauna to let off a bit of steam.

The Hallmark Hotel Derby Mickleover Court is one of the premier meetings venues in the Derby and Midlands area. We have all of the above and more, including 99 bedrooms, 180 parking spaces and WiFi throughout the Hotel. We even have our own Starbucks concession, so nobody’s going to complain about the coffee!

Eleven rooms in total

We have five main events suites. Each one can be configured in different ways, depending on the nature of your meeting or conference. There is adjacent storage space and toilets, plenty of natural daylight and air-conditioning in all rooms. We have four great syndicate rooms for small meetings, break-outs or interviews.

Our largest suite – the Morley – has capacity for up to 200 at a reception or theatre-style event.

The right place for your event

We couldn’t be better placed for a large business event or meeting in the Midlands. It’s easy to get to the Hotel by car, and we have plenty of parking. East Midlands Airport is just 20 miles away and Derby railway station is less than five miles from the Hallmark Hotel Derby Mickleover Court.
