Hallmark Hotels Green Policy

Hallmark Hotels recognizes its responsibility to respect the environment and will strive to achieve environmental best practices and continual improvement throughout its business activity. Hallmark Hotels will play an increasing role in building a sustainable future.
 
Each hotel has appointed  a  Green Champion whose aim will be to encourage all staff in carrying out 'green' working practices within Hallmark Hotels. There by reducing the hotels carbon footprint .
 
Our aims will be, wherever possible to :

• Reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions
• Reduce water consumption
• Reduce the amount of waste generated by reusing and recycling
• Consider environmental factors when purchasing items
• Ensure staff and guests are aware of all our green issues and encourage them to assist in achieving our goals
• Consider energy and green issues when completing hotel refurbishments
• Support and work with local communities and fund raising charities.
